English Language Centre

The key effort of the English Language Centre is focused on the study of the language within the bachelor degree programs at the University. The Centre offers a variety of courses such as General English, English for Business and Tourism, English Language Discourse (for students with major and minor in English Language and Literature). The mandatory program of General English, concentrated on academic reading, is focused on the interdisciplinary integration at the University.

The studying process is carried out in small student groups (10-12 students) in line with the step-based system.

Around 150 teachers are employed by the Centre. The University and the Administration of the Centre are permanently striving to increase their qualification and competence. 

The group of curriculum expert teachers are employed by the Centre for coordination of the teaching process and development of new syllabi, test and exam materials.
