Program in Enterprise Development
Ilia State University, in partnership with Eurasia Management House, is launching a 6-month program in Enterprise Development as part of its social responsibility agenda to enable young men and women who wish to obtain paid employment or start their micro or small businesses in Georgia.
The Enterprise Development program consists of self-study of the Enterprise Development module of 10 chapters during 4 months and lectures and workshops during 2 months at Ilia State University. Enterprise Development program teaches the totality of planning, developing, funding and operating a micro or small business. It is taught by a specialist faculty.
The program is taught in Georgian language.
The program includes assistance for arranging small business finance with banks and other micro finance institutions for those seeking to start up micro or small businesses. It also includes assistance with employment opportunities through introductions to companies in Georgia.
Successful candidates will be awarded an Ilia University Certificate in Enterprise Development.
Fee for the Enterprise Development Program is GEL 800. Candidates who are unable to pay the full fee may pay GEL 100 and obtain a bank loan of GEL 700, to be paid back after 2 years.
Admission requirements: Minimum age: 18 years and high level of commitment to finish the program. Enrolment at any time.

Georgian National Corporate Leadership Program
Guaranteed Junior Executive Jobs for Holders of British Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies

Ilia State University, in partnership with Eurasia Management House, is launching the Georgian National Corporate Leadership Program consisting of a program in Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies, aimed at grooming competent and qualified managers for the Georgian and global corporate market.
This is a one year intensive program taught by an international visiting faculty, and is directed by a Harvard Graduate with 25 years of international experience. It is a rigid and comprehensive program of management studies and corporate leadership. Successful candidates will be awarded an Advanced Diploma from British Technical Education Council-EDEXCEL as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Ilia State University.
Medium of instruction is English.
The program includes industry visits and orientation by Chief Executive Officers of banks, industries and NGOs in Georgia.
This diploma program is ideal for young graduates seeking executive positions in corporations and who are willing to undergo internships with companies during the study period. Candidates who successfully complete the diploma program with a credit average (70+) are guaranteed junior executive positions in corporations in Georgia.
Program fee is $5,000. Adequate proficiency in English and a bachelor degree are required. Those above 23 years of age and with minimum 3 years work experience may also be considered.
Funding and other assistance: Bank loans available on payment of $75/month as interest only payment for 2 years or after candidates obtaining a job. Candidates have the opportunity of earning an average of $100 per month during study period through research work for Eurasia Management House.
Working candidates: Working candidates are welcome to apply for the weekend classes on 40 full Saturdays per annum totaling 270 hours of learning.
Classes start on 17 January 2011.
