College of Engineering
The college of engineering offers three Bachelor degree programs in; Architecture, Building Constructions and Computer Sciences. The College equips students with thorough knowledge in the chosen field and helps them develop practical skills essential for the job market.
It is essential for the College of Engineering to:
- To make the students see the link between theoretical knowledge and practical work
- To carry out interdisciplinary projects, introduce innovative practices, respect the academic freedom of each student.
- To equip the students with skills needed for independent work, critical assessment of their own work, and successful group work.
- To enrich the curricula, making sure that the graduates develop further, are responsible and informed in the changing surrounding and global culture.
The aim of the College of Engineering is to:
- Create and distribute knowledge and art through research and art expression, and bring this intellectual knowledge into society.
- Help students solve problems and become leaders in their field.
A Bachelor’s Degree at the College of Engineering will:
- Help students build knowledge in the field chosen by them.
- Equip students with a general knowledge of other fields.
- Ensure multidisciplinary architectural education where architectural design is the main subject of the program;
- Ensure development of individual interests of the students by offering them some core/elective and elective courses.
